Crumbaugh Library Website

March 24, 2017

The Crumbaugh Library in LeRoy was going through a remodel and wanted to update their website at the same time, to complement their new look.

I created the site in WordPress to make it easier for them to maintain the site themselves with as many automated features as possible with the ongoing maintaince of the site. The site is mobile ready, having it look just as good on their cellphone and tablets, this also helps in google searches.

The Front has the most current news items for the site with previous news going to the news area, to keep the landing page current and fresh with the most current news items.

There is also a calendar page for quick reference for the patrons of the library to see quickly what upcoming events are happening.

To tie the site to into the social networking sites I added a way for the posts to go their social sites such as their facebook page and allow visitors to share the posts to their own social networks accounts;  This will show the feature photo along with a text excerpt where the audience clicks the link that takes them to the website so they can read the rest, helping also with their SEO.

Site: Maintained by the client.
