I started a series of taking old photos from the town and colorizing them, for posters, for the upcoming 175th celebration. Of the photos a few were taken by my great-grandfather with his brownie camera and one was taken by me on a K1000 that had fallen down a couple of years after I took the photo. I scanned the photos into Photoshop at 600 dpi, they were enlarged to 16×20 to work on. When colorized in Photoshop each layer represented a different color causing some of the images to be over 100 layers and extremely large file sizes a couple over a 1 gig.
